White Dragon Martial Arts

Sifu Ming Lau
Chief Instructor of White Dragon Martial Arts Mira Mesa

Ming Lau began his martial arts training at the young age of 12 in the art of Judo. As a young adult, he moved to San Diego to study at San Diego State University where he eventually graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. It was in San Diego that he would continue his martial art training by studying kung fu under Sifu Donald Tittle, a veteran competitor and the one of the top students of Master Nathan Fisher. He advanced at a phenomenal pace and soon stood out as Sifu Tittle's top student.

Mr. Lau's quick advancement continued, receiving a promotion to the level of Sifu from Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong in 2002. He has followed in his teacher's footsteps by taking medals in some of the most prestigious martial art events in the United States. Sifu Lau has victories in kung fu and tai chi hand and weapon forms, tai chi push hands, San Da kickboxing, and most recently, submission grappling. His success in competition is matched only by his success as a teacher in Master Fisher's organization. Sifu Lau's school is quickly becoming one of the largest and most successful martial arts schools in San Diego.
