Getting Started at White Dragon

White Dragon offers over 50 classes a week for all ages and experience levels! Since the class schedule varies slightly from school to school, we recommend contacting your nearest White Dragon location for more information.

Not at all. You’ll find that our classes for beginners are the perfect way to build up your overall fitness level regardless of your physical condition. In addition, since you’ll also be receiving one on one personal training as part of your membership, you’ll be moving at a pace that’s best for you. So White Dragon is the perfect place to start your journey to better health and fitness.

Yes you can. But even better than watching, how about trying a class out for yourself? You’ll find that our beginning group classes are the perfect way to get introduced to our school and meet our friendly staff. Contact or visit one of our locations.

Kids of all ages can benefit greatly from martial arts training. However, at White Dragon we feel that starting kids who are 4 years or older is ideal. We have classes specifically designed for different age groups, and because we pair each student with their own personal instructor, our kids make great progress. So if you have a child that is 4 years or older, now would be the perfect time to get them started.

Of course not! You are never too old to start benefiting from martial arts training. Our Great Grandmaster is 86 years old and practices his martial arts daily. In addition, our unique combination of private lessons and group classes allows each student to learn at a pace that is best for them. So regardless of your age, our dedicated team of instructors would love to help you get started.

We’ve been training students for over 30 years and we are very serious about your health and safety. Our expert team of instructors has been specially trained to use padded focus equipment to allow you to use full power strikes and kicks with very little risk of injury. The training program at White Dragon is one of the safest anywhere.

At White Dragon our private lessons are always one-on-one, unless you prefer a “team membership” which is perfect for friends or families that want to train together. Our private lessons are not “semi-private” or even small classes with up to 4 students at a time, as is the case with many other schools. At White Dragon, we pair up every student with their own personal instructor because we believe that this is the most effective way to learn martial arts.

Absolutely. When you are a member of White Dragon, you can choose to train at any location that is convenient for you, and it never costs anything extra.

We are proud members of the Choy Li Fut - Tai Chi International Federation, started by Grandmaster Doc Fai Wong in 1985. Grandmaster Wong is one of the highest level Kung Fu and Tai Chi Masters in the world and has published several books, written over 200 magazine articles, and created over 40 instructional videos. His federation, with over 300 schools in 39 different countries, is the one of the largest martial arts organizations worldwide. All of our instructors are certified to teach in Grandmaster Wong’s federation.

Yes, we are one of the few schools in America that conducts full background checks on all of our employees.

It takes about 5-6 years depending on the individual. However, since you’ll be working one-on-one with your own instructor, you’ll advance at the pace that is best for you. The black belt at White Dragon is one of the most challenging to attain, but our dedicated team of instructors will be there to help you every step of the way.
